Near Dark Soundtrack - Tangerine Dream

When the classic vampire movie, Near Dark, came out I was a composer and synth player. The Tangerine Dream soundtrack was so cool and so perfect for this movie and very influential on my compositions. Loved the movie, the cast, the soundtrack.

They also did the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies of all time, Thief.

Ooh, that was a good one.

Plus, another big time favorite of mine - Sorcerer, directed by William Freidkin. Who also directed The Exorcist, which was a movie adapted from a book by William Peter Blatty, who wrote a sequel novel called, Legion.

And I'll be damned if WildClaw isn't putting a stage adaptation of Legion on for their next show!

Speaking of NEAR DARK, I just got back from HorrorHound's convention in Cincinnati, where Jenny Wright made her first convention appearance! She looks older (don't we all), but still has that wonderful fragile and tender quality about her.

Didn't TD also do the soundtrack for Michael Mann's THE KEEP?
