Looking Back...Dreams in the Witch House in J. David's Eyes.

I came across these old blog posts while searching for pictures.  It was written by our dear departed friend, J. David Moeller.  J. David was in The Great God Pan and Dreams in the Witch House...and had he not left this world too soon...I am sure he would have been in just about every Lovecraft play we would have ever produced because he was perfect for our plays.

Well, I had no idea that he was taking these photos and writing these blog entries.  They are a wonderful look back on our second show and a tribute to a wonderful weirdo who we miss, J. David...RIP

"The Great God Pan" opens in Australia this week

Originally produced by WildClaw Theatre in 2008, this adaptation of Arthur Machen's "The Great God Pan" opens at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in Australia. Produced by The Pit and the Pendulum Theatre, it runs until the 9th of October.

Lovecraft Opening and Weird Tales Event

WildClaw Theatre, in conjunction with Weird Tales Magazine, is celebrating Weird Tales 85th Anniversary. Weird Tales was founded in Chicago in March, 1923 and they are happy to have found a Chicago company that utilizes the stories that made them great. Our first show was Arthur Machen's The Great God Pan and on November 16th WildClaw will present H. P. Lovecraft's The Dreams in the Witch House.

For those of you that missed the show, here is a tiny taste, and perhaps enough to whet your appetite for our next horrific venture. A little bitty slice of video from our production of The Great God Pan, which, while it is not representitive of the show as a whole, it is a lotta fun. One more thing. . . for those who might be squeamish, there is a tiny little bit of blood.

After meeting face to face with Helen, Reynolds is left with a little bit of truth, which proves a very bitter pill to swallow.
