Joss Whedon taking over Terminator? I could dig that. As long as he did not cast Eliza Dushku. That woman cannot act worth a damn. Seriously. While Ms. Greaves is a die hard Whedon-ite, even she agrees. We watch this latest series, Dollhouse, and it is at times interesting (though doomed to cancellation, I am sure), but we agreed on the equation that prevents the show from being good. More Dushku = Bad TV. Less Dushku = Good TV. I digress

London, England (CNN) -- Film-maker Joss Whedon says he wants to buy the rights to the multi-million dollar "Terminator" franchise -- not for millions, or hundreds of thousands of dollars, but for ten grand.

That's right, $10,000.

The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator made the unlikely bid in an open letter to the owners of the franchise posted on fan site Whedonesque.

Now, what does Joss Whedon have in common with The Terminator franchise?

Summer Glau. Who was awesome in Firefly, Serenity, made a smoking hot Cyborg, and is just generally cool. And fun to look at. And so much cooler and better than Eliza Dushku. Hence the picture.

Hulu for Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror! Two Bloody Thumbs Up!

Okay, I know I am really really late to the Hulu thing. You know it's bad when your mom has used something on the internets before you have. So I decided last night to give it a try after failing yet again to get the netflix instant play to work on my Mac...grumble. Verdict: Hulu was fabulous!

I was also pleased to see that they have a whole channel dedicated to horror! You can watch episodes of long cancelled sci-fi and horror shows like The Invisible Man and the awesome American Gothic! There are clips from upcoming films like 30 Days of Night as well as full on movies like The Birds and Aliens. All without any cost, nothing to download, and limited commercials. You do need speedy internet and sometimes the quality can be a bit gritty. But hey...free goes along way. You can even watch my beloved Buffy and Joss Whedon's latest, The Dollhouse!

A question about robots...

I do not mean to hijack Blood Radio from it's intended horrific course, but I need a question answered and this seems like the right place to ask it.

Is anyone watching the new Joss Whedon show Dollhouse? I know, it's not horror, unless you count Eliza Dushku's horrific acting ability...I digress...but it is sci-fi fantasy, so, it's close enough, and I am a big admirer of most of Joss Whedon's stuff, Firefly, Buffy. So far, Dollhouse is watchable, but it is not great, not like Supernatural (which had a superior episode with two quality kills last week) or heck, not even Fringe (which is growing on me) but, interesting enough. I am still watching it. I kinda have to, but that is another story...again, I digress...

Is the Rossum corporation in Dollhouse the same Rossum as the corporation from R.U.R.(Rossum's Universal Robots)? Ms. Aly Greaves, our resident expert in the Whedon-verse as well as the costume designer of Strawdog Theatre's production of R.U.R.(Rossum's Universal Robots) believes that it is definitely one in the same, that it must be.

Is it possibly a coincidence?
