Screen International reported this morning that Eminem, AKA Slim Shady, AKA Marshall Mathers, has a role in the upcoming 3-D horror flick Shady Talez, which he will also produce. (I admit, when I first read that, I read it as 'Ta-lez' and I thought, what the hell is that? Then I realized, oh, it's 'Tales' with a Z. Nerd alert.) It's his first role since 2002 (8 Mile).
Creepshow is referenced in the article, so that would suggest the film will be structured as a series of shorts. The article also reports that the film will be turned into a comic book series under the Marvel banner sometime in 2010, written by Dallas Jackson and Kevin Grevioux.
I just hope it's better than Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horrors. (No offense, Snoop).
